Last year I was lucky enough to do something that I never thought possible. I was able to watch my favourite movie of all time on the silver screen, as nature intended.

There are many other classic films out there that I love but was too young or naive to have seen at a cinema in my lifetime but that could be about to change.

This year, Universal Studios are celebrating their 100th anniversary and to share this celebration, a number of their classic films have been re-released on DVD and blu-ray. Not only that but a select few are getting a cinema release too.

This weekend sees Jaws come to cinemas across the UK and it will be a real treat for me to go and see this five star film with my girlfriend, who has somehow never seen it before. It’s going to be a real gem to watch her squirm in her seat! Not only that but another five star film will be availble to view at cinemas not long after Jaws closes in screens, the classic Blues Brothers are on a mission from God to get back in picture houses!

With The Amazing Spider-Man and The Dark Knight Rises also coming to screens this year, it’s going to be a blockbuster of a summer!
